Carlson's Fat Trauma

Nip/Tuck star Kelly Carlson had to endure seven hours in make-up to pile on the pounds for the hit show - and her prosthetic fat suit was so stifling it made her pass out.
The actress gains 300 pounds in a dream sequence, during which her character's boyfriend, played by Julian McMahon, imagines her obese.
Making her look fat was a long and gruelling process, and Carlson is still haunted by the uncomfortable body suit she had to wear.
The actress tells Star magazine, "The process was awful. It took about six or seven hours. It starts with a mold of your body, a cast from foot to neck. You have to stand up and it hardens around you. It gets so suffocating that you can pass out - and I did."
